 [After the disaster that was the Shedinja fiasco, Liquid and Otacon had made it to Ecruteak.  And Liquid found that he was unfortunately utterly broke after spending most of his money getting back on the engineer's good side in Goldenrod.  Wining and dining a nerd was surprisingly expensive, even if the aforementioned nerd was a lightweight and a cheap date.]

[At the moment, he had approximately no cash.  Which was why he was standing in the Pokemon Center, clad once again in those glorious pink scrubs that he'd endured during his first few weeks of being in Johto.]
