[When Liquid tossed the Pokegear onto the bed next to the egg he'd mysteriously gotten for Christmas, it turned on and started the feed.  The egg had been wrapped up to keep it warm, and now it was making little cracking noises and was rocking slightly where it lay; Liquid had already hatched one Pokemon by now, so he wasn't too concerned.  The last one worked itself out on its own, so he figured that this one would do the same.  He'd just let it do its hatching thing and would only interfere if something seemed to go wrong.]
